Wind Damage

We flew into the Scranton airport last night at 9:00PM and were met by a strong wind/rain storm on our way home. The trip from the airport to home should have taken 1.5 hours, but took almost 3 hours. Half way home we were stopped for about an hour due to an accident involving a car that hit a tree that had fallen across Route 6.

The local fire department was clearing fallen trees from the road when we got within a mile of home. We attempted to use the south end of Joyce Road but were stopped a couple of hundred yards short by a large tree across the road. Try the northern route. It was now almost midnight and we could see several trees down along Route 187. Our electric power was off when we got home and restored before noon. This tree almost blocked the north end of Joyce Road. I came back at day break with a chain saw and widened the opening.
Our neighbor's lawn near the road to our cabin.
Lots of wind damage in the area. A few daytime shoots from the drone along Route 187. Just south of the township building.
North of the township building and south of the Dollar General store. There is a house under this tree.
Some of the house is visible under the tree.
A tree in the Dollar General parking lot.
Clean up at Dollar General.
200 yards north of Dollar General and next to our corn field. Besides the large Maple trees in the yard, there was a large pine tree, upper left of the photo, that was blown from the edge of the corn field into the trailer court.
A roof is blown off this trailer and others damaged.
