Milkweed and Bees

I'm starting to keep track of the time of year by which wildflowers are in bloom. We're in the early days of milkweeds now.

Most people associate milkweed with the Monarch Buttery but it attracts many insects with its large clusters of tiny five lobed flowers. Here are a few photos of bees (mainly wild honey bees) on milkweed flowers.
