Wildflower - Allegheny Monkey Flower

I have been clearing some of the overgrown fields behind our house and came across a couple of patches of Allegheny Monkey Flower(Mimulus ringens).



This member of the Figwort family (Scrophulariaceae) likes damp, sunny locations, such as ditches and marshes.
