When I arrived at the entrance to the well pad they were loading the large excavator on a trailer for transport to another site.
A long load to haul.
At the well pad site it was quiet and the dozers were lined up near the stream crossing.
The rain for the past couple of days had created some mud in the southeast corner of the construction site. The new silt sock, installed yesterday, is seen at the right.
View of the pad area looking west. The wellhead marker is to the right of center in the photo. The only activity at the site was repairs to a CAT D6 which hasn't moved since yesterday.
