Spring Wildflowers

Dame's rocket (Hesperis matronalis) is a garden plant that was introduced from Europe in colonial times. It now grows wild across much of the United States.

Dame's rocket is a member of the mustard family, Brassicaceae and blooms in pink, magenta, or white.

Dame's rocket is an invasive weed that threatens native plant habitats.
